Pav, a desi bun




The hot pav, taste very yummy and the aroma while baking the pav is very nice. just try 

Ingredients:--------------

  • Bread flour:------- 200gm.
  • Salt:---------------- 3g.
  • sugar:---------------- 20g
  • yeast:--------------- 4g(1.3tsp)
  • warm water:----------- 100g
  • butter:----------------- 20g
  • egg:---------------- 20g

Method:----------------


  1. Mix water and yeast set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix all ingredients add yeast and water mixture.
  3. Mix all together, make a sticky mass, then move to kitchen table.
  4. Throw the dough, mix it fold the dough into half.
  5. Repeat this process of folding and kneading, knead for 10mins
  6. After 10 min the dough will became smooth, elastic.
  7. Shape the dough into a smooth ball
  8. In a greased bowl (butter the bowl). and leave to rise for 50-60min. cover the bowl with cling wrap.
  9. Keep the bowl in warm place, it will help the dough to rise.
  10. After 50-60mins, knock back by punching it gently.
  11. Fold the dough 3 times and divide them in two balls.
  12. Again cover it and keep aside for 10mins, in between 10 mins grease the tray.
  13. After 10min make a small balls and place it in a tray, again leave it for another 40-50mins , in a warm place so it will rise.
  • After 50mins, preheat oven and brush the balls with beaten egg (very gently)
  • Then bake it for 200*c, or 300f, for 10 mins, or until golden brown.
